drukpathBecause of its proximity to the airport, easier elevation, and shorter duration, Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular trekking trails. Shorter than many other routes, this six-day trek provides everything you aspire for. This trail passes through blue pine forests, several lakes, mountain passes, ancient temples, dzongs and villages.
Altitude along this trail ranges from 2,400 to 4,200 metres. This trek also offers a spectacular view of Mt. Gangkar Punsum, the highest unclimbed mountain in the world. The best time for Druk Path Trek is between March and June or September and November.
